Acupuncture helps keep the body resilient through medical treatments and offsets side effects of medications such as peripheral neuropathy, nausea, poor appetite, fatigue, low blood platelets and many other issues. As well as the physical problems, acupuncture soothes the nervous system and helps a person process their emotions during this difficult and challenging time.
